Carebear about the new NC highschool lacrosse rules?

In the state of NC, highschools have always used the NCAA college rules for lacrosse. For some reason they decided to create their own rules this year. The main rules are still the same, but they have just incorporated new sensless rules such as: a team has 1 time out each game that they can call whenever they want. Ussually you have to have possession of the ball in order to call a time out, but now you could be on a 1 on 1 fast break with the ball and the other team could just call a timeout. It kills the flow of the game, and in doing that it kills the game. Also we are not suppose to gather as a team and play as a team in preseason tournaments. This means though we will still be using the same players we have to establish a club team. Its just annoying to me, mainly because I don't see any of the points these rules are enforcing. Hopefully the creation of these new rules won't hurt my senior season. Carebear about these new rules...

You'd think rules would be there to make the game better. Isn't that the idea?
